What could possibly go wrong when you decide to create a god to fight another god. In the Marvel event of the year, the annihilation of our planet by the Eternals is an ongoing possibility. Who are the Avengers going to side with, the Eternals or the X-Men? And what is going to happen when the newly created god decides it is judgment time for earth?
The narrative is done in 3rd person with classical use of panels on scenes depicting humans and disruptive when depicting the battle. There is a good balance between fight scenes and those that just drive the story towards the unavoidable doomsday. The use of colors is magnificent.Ā
The cover is done by Mark Brooks portraying symbolic silhouettes with the newly revived eternal as background. It is wonderful. The red palette dominates creating an ambiance of discomfort. There is great attention to detail with special attention to the dynamic movement of the eternal.
