Tynion and his twisted mind bring another chapter of one of the best independent comics right now. The Department of Truth is the perfect blend of all conspiracy theories, suspense and film noir in one comic. It might be difficult to follow the madness when first reading the comic, but eventually the storyline’s madness comes together. The narrative is done in first person.
Art is abstract and gritty. Definitely on the alternative side. Panels are used in as many different ways as possible helping the narrative. Contrasting colors separate scenes. Visually, the comic drags us into a longstanding nightmare.
