Darth Vader has always been presented to us like one of the greatest villains. While converted to the dark side, Padme's words would become a prophecy: “There is still good in him”. This story is presenting to us the internal back and forth that Vader is facing as he chases down the Crimson Dawn. While the story is a little ordinary, it is that normalcy that showcases us the internal revolt in Vader’s mind and heart. The story as a whole is presenting us with Vader as an antihero in the making.
The use of panels and colors follow a classic storytelling style with no disruption whatsoever at any scene. It is always a pleasure to see Vader in action, but the detail I love the most is the use of black background for Vader’s dialogues. I hear his harsh voice in my head every time I read his dialogue. It is wonderful.
