Adam Kubert & Frank Martin portray the perfect mix between the gruesome violence we would expect from Wolverine with the right amount of darkly humorous violence we want from Deadpool. The recurrent use of comedic panels portraying movement and stationary elements is delightful. Very well achieved.
Benjamin Percy on the other side, is taking us on an emotional rollercoaster of action and twist plots. He has made this duo unforgettable. “Scully and Mulder, Sonny and Cher” ? The worst team work yet maybe the best duo in the Marvel Universe. He definitely knows how to write a classic Wolverine, a classic Deadpool, and how to throw them in a collision of characters.
While we still don’t know what the CIA and Krakoa are after, exactly… we do know that whatever Danger wants to protect will find its way on Funko. (Please @funko, make this happen). Wolverine is using Deadpool to get out and chase what he came for. And we mean using, we literally mean using. Thankfully Blind Al comes to the rescue taking them to a safe place where they find where Danger is located. It is time to take a trip to the memory lane.
